The pretty beach of the Caladesi Island State Park is located at the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. This beach is located northwest of St. Petersburg. The lovely beach at the Caladesi Island State Park is not as much overcrowded as some other beaches in Florida. The beach at the Caladesi Island State Park can only be reached with the ferry or with a boat. The stay at the Caladesi Island State Park is limited to 4 hours (visit with the ferry). Your ticket informs you about your returntime. Earlier ferrys can only be taken if there is a seat / are seats available.

Directions to the Caladesi Beach:
From US Route 19turn on Florida State Route 586 (Curlew Road) westbound to the Dunedin Causeway. The Dunedin Causeway leads straight to the Honeymoon Island State Park. The ferry to the Caladesi Island State Park leaves at the Honeymoon Island State Park.

Entrance Fee to the Honeymoon Island State Park ($4.- for one person and $8.- for two to eight persons and $12.- for the ferry (per person).
