Florida Beaches at the southern Atlantic Coast.

Beach Overview of Floridas Beaches at the southern Atlantic Coast from the north to the south:

Lake Worth Fishing Pier & Beach:
At the Lake Worth Fishing Pier & Beach there are showers, restrooms, a cafe, a restaurant, the Municipal Pier and a playground. A parking fee is charged at the Lake Worth Fishing Pier & Belach. The parking fee at the parking meters is one Quarter (25 Cent) for 10 minutes (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lantana Beach:
Restrooms, showers, a cafe, a restaurant and a playground are provided at the Lantana Beach. A parking fee is charged at the Lantana Beach. The parking fee at the parking meters is one Quarter (25 Cent) for 10 minutes (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ocean Inlet Park:
At the Ocean Inlet Park, there are some rocks in the water of the Atlantic Ocean. Showers and restrooms are provided at this beach. No parking fee is charged at the Ocean Inlet Park (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Boynton Beach Park:
A parking fee is charged at the Boynton Beach Park. The parking fee is $10.- (as at: April 2010). Thanks to the parking fee, there are normally enough parking spaces available at the Boynton Beach Park.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gulfstream Park:
At the Gulfstream Park, there are showers and restrooms provided. No parking fee is charged at the Gulfstream Park (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Delray Beach:
Showers are provided at Delray Beach. The parking fee is $1,25.- per hour. A few free parking spaces are available along the roadside (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Boca Raton South Beach:
Restrooms and showers are provided at the South Beach at the city of Boca Raton. No parking fee is charged at this beach. The parking time is limited to one hour (as at: April 2010) The parking space is limited at the South Beach in Boca Raton.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

South Inlet Park:
Showers and restrooms are provided at the South Inlet Park. The parking fee is $2.- during the week and $3.- on weekends (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deerfield Beach:
No restrooms are provided at the Deerfield Beach. The parking fee at this beach is a Quarter (25 Cent) for 12 minutes (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fort Lauderdale (Ocean Manor Resort Hotel):
No public parking spaces are available at this beach. The parking spaces are reserved for hotelguests of the Ocean Manor Resort Hotel. The access to this beach is through the lobby of the hotel and through the Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar & Cafe, which is supposed to be the biggest Tiki Bar at the beach of Fort Lauderdale.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fort Lauderdale (Beach Boulevard):
The beach at Fort Lauderdales Beach Boulevard is located next to the Florida State Route A1A, also known as Ocean Drive. For tourists, Fort Lauderdale is one of the most popular places in Florida. Showers are provided at the Beach Boulevard. No restrooms are provided. The waves are rather small at this beach. Parking spaces are available along the roadside but the parking space is limited. Especially during the weekends and during the season, it’s difficult to find a parking space. A parking fee is charged at this beach. The parking fee at the parking meter is $1,75.- per hour (as at: April 2010).

Fort Lauderdale (Seabreaze Boulevard):
Showers and restrooms are provided at the Seabreaze Boulevard. Although there are lots of parking spaces,  it is difficult to find a parking space during the weekends and during the season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Frank C. “Tootie” Adler Park:
The Frank C. “Tootie” Adler Park is located at the city of Dania Beach. Restrooms and a playground are provided at the Frank C. “Tootie” Adler Park. A parking fee of one Quarter (25 Cent) for 12 Minuten is charged (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

Hollywood North Beach:
Showers, restrooms and a playground are provided at the  Hollywood North Beach. The parking fee at the Hollywood North Beach is $7.- resp. after 2pm $5.- (as at: April 2010). A little bit south of the Hollywood North Beach, there is additional parking space. The parking fee at this small parking lot is one Quarter (25 Cent) for 15 minutes (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Miami Beach (South Beach at the Lummus Park):
At Miami Beach, there is the most popular beach of Greater Miami also known as South Beach. The South Beach is also famous for the fashion shows that take place at this beach. Showers and restrooms are provided at the South Beach. Parking space is limited. Parking spaces are available along the roadside and at small parking lots. The parking fee is one Quarter (25 Cent) for 12 minutes. Free parking spaces are available at the side roads. (as at: April 2010). Art Deco buildings with restrooms and hotels are situated at the other roadside of the Lummus Park.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Miami Beach (South Pointe Park):
At the southern end of Miami Beach, there is the beach of the South Poite Park. Showers and restrooms are provided at the South Pointe Park. The parking fee is  $1,25.- per hour (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Miami (Virginia Key):
The first beach at the Virginia Key is situated next to the highway. Virginia Key is located between Miami and Key Biscayne. No restrooms are provided and no parking fee is charged at this beach (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Miami (Historic Virginia Key Park):
At the Historic Virginia Key Park, there are a cafe, showers and restrooms. Swimming is not allowed at this beach! The parking fee resp. the entrance fee at the Historic Virginia Key Park is $5.- (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Key Biscayne (Crandon Park Beach):
At the Crandon Park, there is a huge parking lot, pavilions that can be rented, restrooms and showers. The beach at the Crandon Park Beach is a wide leveled sandy beach. The sand at the Crandon Park Beach is finer than the sand at Miami Beach. The entrance fee resp. the parking fee is $6.- (as at: April 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Key Biscayne (Bill Bags Cape Florida State Park):
The Bill Bags Cape Florida State Park is located at the southern end of Key Biscayne. The lighthouse at the Bill Bags Cape Florida State Park can be visited..A few parking lots,  a cafe, restrooms and showers are provided at this beach. The entrance fee resp. the parking fee is $8.- / a single person pays only $4.- (as at: April 2010).
