Beach Overview of Wisconsins Beaches at the Lake Michigan from the north to the south:

Point Beach State Forest:
A beautiful sandy beach is located at the Point Beach State Forest. The water of the Lake Michigan is a little bild cold. Rip currents can occur at the Lake Michigan and strong winds can push air matresses away from the shore. At the Point Beach State Forest there are three beach accesses, a campground, grills, a snack bar and restrooms. The entrance fee resp. the parking fee is $10.- per day resp. $5.- for one hour. The entrance fee of the Day Pass is valid at all other State Parks in Wisconsin, that are visited at the same day (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

Lodge Picnic Area Beach - At the Lodge Picnic Area, there are grills, a snack bar and restrooms.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lakeshore Picnic Area Beach - At the Lakeshore Picnic Area, there are restrooms and grills.

Two Rivers:
A few free parking spaces are located next to the Highway 42 (Wisconsin State Route 42) (as at: Mai 2010). A short stairway leads to the sandy beach. No restrooms and no showers are available at this beach.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sheboygan Beach:
There are no showers and no restrooms provided at the Sheboygan Beach. No parking fee is charged at the side roads (e.g. at the Alabama Avenue) (as at: Mai 2010). The parking space is limited at the Sheyboygan Beach.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kohler Andrae State Park:
The beach at the Kohler Andrae State Park consists of fine sand. A playground, grills, a bathing house and restrooms are provided at this State Park. The entrance fee resp. the parking fee is $10.- per day resp. $5.- for one hour. The entrance fee of the Day Pass is valid at all other State Parks in Wisconsin, that are visited at the same day (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

Beach Access north of the  Kohler Dunes - Restrooms are provided at this beach access. Limited parking space is available.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Beach Access at the Sanderling Lane - A bathing house is located at this beach access.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Beach Access at the Beach Avenue / Campground - A playground and the campground of the Kohler Andrae State Park are located at this beach access.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Harrington Beach State Park:
The beach at the Harrington Beach State Park consists of fine sand. A lot of shells are lying in the sand of this beach. The temperature of the water at the Lake Michigan can be pretty cold. showers, restrooms and grills are provided at the Harrington Beach State Park. Two beaches are located at the Harrington Beach State Park: the North Beach is for swimming and sun bathing and the South Beach (also known as Dog Beach). At the South Beach, there are pets allowed. The entrance fee resp. the parking fee is $10.- per day resp. $5.- for one hour. The entrance fee of the Day Pass is valid at all other State Parks in Wisconsin, that are visited at the same day (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Milwaukee: Two beaches are located at the city of Milwaukee: the Bradford Beach and the McKinley Beach.

 

 

 

Bradford Beach - At the Northpoint of the Bradford Beach there is a snack bar. The parking space at the roadside is free and limited. More parking space is available at a parking lot. A parking fee is charged at this parking lot (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

McKinley Beach - A playground and a kiosk are situated at the McKinley Beach. There are a lot of small stones lying at this sandy beach. Free parking space is availabla at the roadside. No parking fee is charged at this beach (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Racine North Beach:
A few stones are lying in the sand at the beach of the Racine North Beach. A playground and a bathing house with restrooms and a snack bar are located at this beach. No parking fee is charged at the Racine North Beach (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Beach north of the Alford Park:
No restrooms are provided at this beach. This beach can’t be used for a day at the beach. A lot of stones are lying in the sand at the beach. No parking fee is charged (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alford Park:
A few stones are lying in the sand at the beach of the Alford Park. restrooms are provided at this beach. No parking fee is charged at the Alford Park (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pennoyer Park Beach:
At the beach of the Pennoyer Park Beach, there are a few small stones lying in the sand. Swimming and wading is not allowed at this beach. There are swift currents at this beach. Simmons Island Park:

Eichelman Beach (Wolfenbüttel Park):
A small beach is located at the Eichelman Beach at the Wolfenbüttel Park in the city of Kenosha. No restrooms are provided at this beach. A few small stones are lying in the sand.
