Beach Overview of the beaches at the Northern Coast of Kauai from the west to the east:

Kee Beach: The Kee Beach is located at the northern end of the Na Pali Coast. The trailhead of the Kalalau Trail starts at the Kee Beach. This scenic trail
leads along the Napali Coast. Lifeguards, restrooms and showers are provided at the Kee Beach. The Kee Beach and the Kalalau Trail along the Na Pali Coast are very popular. Therefore, the rather large
parking lot at the Kee Beach is often full. Visitors should arrive early! No entrance fee and no parking fee is charged at the Kee Beach (as at: August 2011).

Haena Beach (and Tunnels Reef): The beach at the Haena Beach is a wide sandy beach. At the northern end of the Haena Beach is the famous Tunnels Reef.
Lifeguards, grills, tables, showers and restrooms are provided at this beach. Haena Beach belongs to the most popular beaches in Kauai. Therefore, the rather large parking lot at the Haena Beach and

Lumahai Beach (eastern beachaccess): Only a few parking spaces are provided at the eastern beach access of the Lumahai Beach. The trail to the beach
is not marked. The trail to the beach is steep. If the trail becomes wet, it gets slippery and muddy! This part of the Lumahai Beach is located at a pictureque bay with lava rocks at both sides. No
facilities are available at this beach. No enrance fee and no parking fee is charged at the Lumahai Beach (as at: August 2011).
