Beach Overview of the beaches at the Westcoast of Maui (Lahaina Area) from the north to the south:

Hanaka o’o Beach Park:
The Hanaka o’o Beach Park is located next to the Hanaka o’o  Cemetery. Lifeguards, grills, restrooms and showers are provided at this beach. Warning signs inform about strong currents. No entrance fee and no parking fee is charged at the Hanaka o’o Beach Park. Additional unpaved parking space is provided at the Hanaka o’o  Cemetery. The parking time is limited to 3 hours at the parking lot of the Hanaka o’o  Cemetery (as at: September 2011).

Wahikuli Beach Park:
Three beach accesses resp. parking lots do exist at the Wahikuli Beach Park. The parking lots can only be entered if your driving southbound at the Honoapiilani Highway (Hawaii State Route 30). The pictures and informations are from the northern beach access to the Wahikuli Beach Park. Grills, showers and restrooms are provided at this beach. No parking fee and no entrance fee is charged at the Wahikuli Beach Park (as at: September 2011).

Lahaina North (Jodo Mission):
This beach access in Lahaina is located next to the Jodo Mission and a cemetery. No facilities are provided at this beach. No entrance fee and no parking fee is charged at this beach (as at: September 2011).

Lahaina North (Kenai Street):
This beach access in Lahaina is located at the Kenui Street. No facilities are provided at this beach. No entrance fee is charged at this beach (as at: September 2011).

Lahaina North (Baker Street):
This beach access in Lahaina is located at the Baker Street. No facilities are provided at this beach. Free unpaved parking space is available at the northern side of the Front Street. No entrance fee is charged at this beach (as at: September 2011).

Lahaina Front Street Beach:
A small beach is located next to the Front Street in Lahaina. A wooden stairway leads to the beach. No facilities are provided at this beach. A few stones are lying in the sand. Free parking space is located at the Front Street. Only a few parking spots are available. No entrance fee is charged at this beach (as at: September 2011).

Lahaina South / Lahaina Hafen:
This beach is located south of the Lahaina harbor. No facilities are provided at this beach. Free parking space is located at the Front Street. Only a few parking spots are available. No entrance fee is charged at this beach (as at: September 2011).

Puamana Beach Park:
Showers, restrooms and grills are provided at the Puamana Beach Park. A lot of stones and rocks are lying at the beach. This beach is used by surfers. No entrance fee and no parking fee is charged at the Puamana Beach Park (as at: September 2011).

Launiupoko State Park (Beach Park):
Grills, restrooms and showers are provided at the Launiupoko State Park resp. Beach Park. Warning signs inform about strong currents. No entrance fee and no parking fee is charged at the Launiupoko Beach Park (as at: September 2011).

Roadside Beach:
The parking spaces at this roadside beach are located at the roadside of the Honoapiilani Highway (Hawaii State Route 30). A warning sign informs about a shark attack that took place at this beach. The parking lot at this beach is not paved. No entrance fee and no parking fee is charged at this beach (as at: September 2011).

Olowalu State Beach Reserve:
Stones are lying in the sand at the Olowalu Beach. Unpaved parking space is available at the roadside of the Honoapiilani Highway (Hawaii State Route 30). No entrance fee and no parking fee is charged at the Olowalu Beach (as at: September 2011).

Ukumehame Beach Park:
A small beach is located at the Ukumehame Beach Park. Restrooms are provided at this beach. The parking lot is extremely small. Palapalaua State Wayside:
