Beach at the Gateway National Recreation Area in New Jersey.

The beach at the Beach Area Center B of the Gateway National Recreation Area is a nice wide leveled sandy beach. The Gateway National Recreation Area is also known as Sandy Hook.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Directions to the beach at the Gateway NRA:
From Garden State Parkway turn east on New Jersey State Route 36. After passing a huge bridge, turn north to the Gateway National Recreation Area resp. to Sandy Hook.

Entrance Fee / Parking Fee at the Gateway NRA:
-  No entrance fee
- $10.- / day parking fee (from Memorial Day
   weekend till Labour Day)
