Beach Overview of New Jerseys Beaches at the Atlantic Coast from the north to the south:

Gateway National Recreation Area (Sandy Hook):
No entrance fee is charged at the Gateway National Recreation Area. A parking fee of $10.- is charged between Memorial Day Weekend and Labour Day (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

North Beach - There are shells, parts of plants and small pebble stones at the broad sandy beach of the Gateways National Recreation Areas North Beach. It’s a relatively long walk from the parking lot to the Atlantic Ocean. Showers and restrooms are provided next to the parking lot.

 

 

 

 

 

Beach Area Center B - At the wide sandy beach of the Beach Area Center B, there are shells, parts of plants and lots of small pebble stones. It’s a relatively long walk from the parking lot to the Atlantic Ocean. Restrooms are provided next to the parking lot of the Beach Area Center B. Island Beach State Park (Bathing Beach Nr. 1):
There’s a fine white sandy beach at the Island Beach State Park. Changing rooms, showers and restrooms are provided at the Island Beach State Park in New Jersey. Seaside Park:
At the Seaside Park there’s an amusement park next to the beach. Restrooms are provided at the Seaside Park. A parking fee of one Quarter (25 Cent) for 10 minutes resp. $1,50.- for one hour is charged at the parking meters. Surf City (Ship Bottom 15th Street):
There are some shells at the sandy beach of Surf City. Free parking spaces are available at the side roads. The free parking spaces are limited (as at: Mai 2010).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Atlantic City (South New Jersey Avenue):
Atlantic City is known as the Las Vegas of the East Coast of the USA. At Atlantic City, the casinos are not the only attraction. There are also long sandy beaches with small waves and some shells. Restrooms are available at the casinos and the restraurants, that are located next to the boardwalk of the city of Atlantic City. There is also an amusement park at the boardwalk. The parking fee at the parking meter at the side road is a Quarter (25 Cent) for 30 minutes (as at: Mai 2010). More parking lots are available at the casinos. A parking fee is charged at those parking lots. More beach accesses are available at other side roads.
